The 2016 Weston Air Festival took place over the weekend of 18 and 19 June attracting around 140,000 visitors.
A full programme of displays took place on Saturday with our programme being headlined by the Red Arrows and the RAF Typhoon. Supporting our programme of aerobatic displays were attractions on the beach lawns. These included Armed Forces stands and displays, static helicopters from the local Helicopter Museum, fun fair rides, trade stands and catering.
Unfortunately the flying programme on the Sunday was effected by poor weather. However the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (Spitfire and Hurricane), P51 Mustang, Catalina, Sbach, Autogyro, and Girl Power Pitts Special all peformed to support the second day of Armed Forces Weekend celebrations on the lawns.
